Barakat Santized Cut Veggies and fruits, These veggies, which are sanitized and ready to go into the pan, are supplied to retail outlets and at the same time also supplied to hotels and catering services in huge quantities. This decreases the work-load of their kitchens and enables their chef's to focus on core-competencies instead.
Fruits & Veggies Preparation
The purpose of the cut veggies and fruits is to cater to the needs of our Chef's in the Hospitality division and to ease the work load of the house wifes ...it results in great convenience to the end user.
Vegetables and fruits for the purpose of serving customers of Barakat are procured from multiple sources, along with maintaining several sources as a back-up during periods of increased demands. Products are sourced from all around the world, including citrus fruits from South Africa, Onions from India, Melons from Australia, Parsley and mint leaves from Jordan, Kiwi fruit from Italy and products from many more destinations.
Sorting & storage
The products are stored in the right chiller temperature after which they are subjected for deboxing. Careful sorting is done to seperate out the extraneous matter/removal of stickers etc....
Fruits & Veggies processing & cutting
Every piece of fruit and vegetable goes through a process of careful sanitation to ensure its free of impurities and at the same time retains its freshness through appropriate storage. Once the products are washed cleaned, they are chopped, diced and sliced according to the particular needs of the customers. The hotel clients and chef's rely heavily on Barakat’s ability to cater to their requirement down to the fine detail. Our Barakatis race against time and put their skills to test in following the requirementsput forth by their clients and preparing the cut fruits and vegetables before it is ready for dispatch.
Order Storage & Dispatch

These products, after going through their chopping stage are packed in a vacuum packs to retain their fragrance and freshness.
